1. Back to Back - Course 1
1.1 Course Signal
The course signal for this course shall be either the Port or Starboard course flag over Numeral Pendant 1.
1.2 Senior Course
The senior course shall be as shown in the diagram below. A port hand course is shown. Mark 1 will be a maximum of 0.7 nautical miles from mark 3

1.3 Intermediate Course
The intermediate course shall be as shown in the diagram below. A port hand course is shown. Mark 1 will be a maximum of 0.7 nautical miles from mark 3.

2. Back to Back - Course 2
2.1 Course Signal
The course signal for this course shall be either the Port or Starboard course flag over Numeral Pendant 2.
2.2 Senior Course
The senior course shall be as shown in the diagram below. A port hand course is shown. Mark 1 will be a maximum of 0.7 nautical miles from mark 3.

2.3 Intermediate Course
The intermediate course shall be as shown in the diagram below. A port hand course is shown. Mark 1 will be a maximum of 0.7 nautical miles from mark 3.

3. Windward - Leeward Course
3.1 Course Signal
The course signal for this course shall be either the Port or Starboard course flag over Numeral Pendant 3.
3.2 Senior Course
The senior course shall be as shown in the diagram below. Mark ‘P’ is a pin mark close to mark 1 used as a distance mark when rounding to return to the leeward mark (2). A port hand course is shown.

3.3 Intermediate Course
The intermediate course shall be as shown in the diagram below. Mark ‘P’ is a pin mark close to mark 1 used as a distance mark when rounding to return to the leeward mark (2). A port hand course is shown.

4. Standard Triangular Course
4.1 Course Signal
The course signal for this course shall be either the Port or Starboard course flag over Numeral Pendant 4.
4.2 Senior Course
The senior course shall be as shown in the diagram below. A port hand course is shown. Mark 1 will be approximately 1 nautical mile from mark 3.

4.3 Intermediate Course
The intermediate course shall be as shown in the diagram below. A port hand course is shown. Mark 1 will be approximately 1 nautical mile from mark 3.

5. Double Triangle Course (Figure of 8)
5.1 Course Signal
The course signal for this course shall be either Port over Starboard course flags or Starboard over Port course flags5.2 Senior Course
The senior course shall be as shown in the diagram below. This course consists of 5 laps. The order of the marks for a single lap are: start, 1, 2, gate, 3, 4, finish/gate. The Start/Finish/Gate must be passed through on all reaching and beating legs. A port over starboard course is shown below. Mark 1 will be approximately 1 nautical mile from mark 4.
5.3 Intermediate Course
The intermediate course shall be as shown in the diagram below. This course consists of 3 laps. The order of the marks for a single lap are: start, 1, 2, gate, 3, 4, finish/gate. The Start/Finish/Gate must be passed through on all reaching and beating legs. A port over starboard course is shown below. Mark 1 will be approximately 1 nautical mile from mark 4.
