MEMBERSHIP

New members are welcome and there is no waiting list to join.

Membership categories and fees are:

Family membership - full membership rights, for two adult persons living at the same address.  Each has full membership, but at reduced rates.  Current fees: entrance fee $628.00 and annual subscription $628.00.  

Senior membership - full membership rights, for one adult person.  Current fees: entrance fee $460.00 and annual subscription $460.00.  

Youth membership - limited membership rights, for one person under the age of 18 years.  Current fees: annual subscription $146.00.  No entrance fee is payable.

Whilst under the age of 18 years a child of a Family member or a Senior member has the same rights as a Junior member, without payment of an additional subscription.  

Boat Storage is available at additional cost:

Minnow, Optimist or Sabot         $80 per annum per boat
Fireball, Pacer or Sabre                $230 per annum per boat
Flying Fifteen                                    $400 per annum per boat

Other Boats by agreement with the committee.

Lockers are available (large enough to walk in) at $190 per annum

Use of the Sail Loft for storing sails is included in your membership.

Please note the Yachting Victoria membership is compulsory for all active sailors.

There are 2 sets of club rules, one is the "Constitution" which is registered and grants us our "Incorporated" status. The other is the Club By-Laws, which sets out the ground rules for the day to day running of the club. Both of these items can be accessed here Constitution,  By-Laws.

The By-Laws include an introduction for new members and gives prospective members a few hints on how we operate.

It includes basics such as:
•    Duty Roster and Duty Officer tasks
•    Club House Rules and the times our BYO licence may be used.
•    There are also comments on the type of behaviour expected on all club premises
